Class DZ license is required to drive any truck or a vehicle weighing over 11,000 kg or a combination of a vehicle with a towing vehicle of less than 4600 kgs. If the towed vehicle weighs more than this limit, you will require either a full Class A license or a restricted Class A license. In addition to trucks, a Class D license grants you the authority to drive cars or light trucks covered by a G Class license. DZ license holders can drive straight trucks, dump trucks, cement trucks, garbage trucks, fire trucks, and rescue trucks with air brakes.
